ProjX was engaged to lead the renovation of a former

nursing home into a licensed inpatient behavioral health center. The updated facility includes 35 double-occupancy bedrooms with private bathrooms, individual and group therapy rooms, a commercial kitchen and large dining room, and administrative areas with offices, a call center, and a conference room. Renovations addressed several code deficiencies by adding ADA-compliant bathrooms and

accessible spaces, new insulation, a grease trap, upgraded HVAC and electrical systems, and new nurse call, fire alarm, and access control systems. Construction also uncovered unforeseen conditions, including black mold in the basement and within bedroom walls, which were remediated as part of the project.
