Diatech Laboratory

Diatech Oncology is a privately held life sciences company with headquarters based in Nashville, Tennessee. Diatech is a clinical pathology laboratory business whose primary focus involves working with a patient's "live cancer cells" to determine the most effective chemotherapeutic drug or combination of drugs to use in the course of treatment.

Diatech utilizes a proprietary and patented Technology developed at Vanderbilt university, called the micro-culture kinetic (mick) assay. The test measures the level of "apoptosis" (cancer cell death) for each drug or drug combination tested. Vanderbilt university has provided Diatech an exclusive and perpetual license for this technology.
