OneC1ty Retail Complex

ProjX designed C1TYblox, a 12,000 square foot miniature office/retail district, spotlighting healthy food, fitness, and event space. The project consisted of an arrangement of twenty-one repurposed shipping containers.

The C1TYblox venture was the first large-scale usage of containers as a sole and primary building component in Nashville, TN. Allowing for electrical, plumbing and HVAC equipment to be installed out of sight, the containers were placed upon concrete piers, and the project was completed in just four months.

The utilization of modular design allowed for accelerated development of the oneC1TY campus, thus enabling businesses to be operational while the remaining permanent structures are being built in the subsequent phases of construction spanning the next few years.
