ProjX considers the responsibility of constructing or renovating a facility with a unique focus. Rather than the narrow scope of constructing a building, ProjX chooses to follow the expansive and infinitely customizable path of Owner Advocacy. ProjX carefully represents the Owner's interests and intent regarding the facility at every step from concept development to daily operation. ProjX believes the best way to manage the creation of a project is to be mindful of the Owner's intent for the entire lifecycle of facility ownership, constantly checking for conflicts in planning and execution.Taking the approach of a long-term Owner's Advocate, ProjX is proactive in protecting the asset and the client. This approach maximizes return on the Owner's investment by minimizing delays, finger-pointing, and mistakes during concept, bid and construction phases of the project.
As Owner Advocate, ProjX provides a continuous presence in the decision-making process to insure that all decisions support the Owner's stated intent for the building. The ProjX staff has education, experience and diverse backgrounds to provide comprehensive Facility Development Services. We keep abreast of ever-changing issues involved in construction so that our clients can concentrate on their businesses without interruption.Defining program management services varies from one client to another, but basically it is Owner Advocacy. Depending on the type of client, program management may strictly be managing a program that is already established and overseeing it to make sure the end result meets the owner's objectives. It also means managing the project so that it stays in line with the set schedule and budget. To a different owner, program management could mean due diligence analysis on existing facilities, recommendations on proposed sites, working with the owner and end users to establish the overall program and then managing it through design, construction and owner occupancy. ProjX is experienced in all these aspects.Owners often consider multiple sites before making the decision to construct a new building. Limestone Medical Center

Limestone Medical Center is a replacement hospital facility in Groesbeck, TX. The 60,000 square feet Medical Center includes Emergency, Full Laboratory Services, and Outpatient Rehabilitation including Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy. Limestone Medical Center is classified as a Critical Access Facility and serves as the sole provider within a 75 mile radius.

Golden Plains Community Hospital

Golden Plains Community Hospital is a new Acute Care hospital of approximately 70,000 square feet located in Borger, TX. The facility is licensed for twenty five beds. It also provides Imaging, Endoscopic, Emergency Room, OR Suite, Obstetrics, LDRP, and Physical Rehabilitation functions as well as an EMT building. This project was funded by USDA money.

The two-story brick hospital, about an hour north of New Orleans, hasn’t been full in at least two decades, and the yellowing hallways are lined with empty rooms.CEO Hoppie Jones says that on an average day, fewer than four of the hospital’s 25 beds are occupied. Jones is a slight man in his 60s, and his face is creased with the stresses of his monumental task: keeping the doors of the hospital open despite losing money 11 out of the past 12 years.In the ongoing deficit reduction talks, critical access hospitals have been singled out at least twice as a program ripe for cutting: in President Barack Obama’s budget proposal and by the Congressional Budget Office.Eric Zimmerman, a health care lawyer and lobbyist who represents small rural hospitals at McDermott Will & Emery in Washington D.C., says the proposed cuts to hospitals like Hood could be devastating to small communities like Amite. A small hospital is often one of the biggest employers in a rural town, and closures "can have an outsized economic impact."

That’s where ProjX LLC comes in … filling that role and then some. “There are different companies that offer pieces of what we do, but nobody’s really melded it together in the way that we have to offer the breadth of experience and breadth of services that we can,” said Kimberly Fredrickson, ProjX chief executive officer. Based in Nashville, ProjX was launched in 2006 to manage construction and renovation projects primarily in the healthcare space. The firm taps into the expertise of a variety of other companies across the country, bringing them into a project on a contract basis when their particular area of specialty is needed. “We have a broad spectrum of experience that we can tap this way,” she said. With six professionals in its West End office, ProjX is a “virtual company,” according to the firm'’s chief development officer, Ira A. Chilton. “We are a heavy knowledge-based company, meaning that on average our experience in design and construction and construction financing exceeds 25 years with our core staff that is employed by ProjX. Because we are a virtual company, we have created a resource link via the Internet, and we act like a much larger company.”
