ALTA VISTA REGIONAL HOSPITAL

Alta Vista Regional Hospital is a 90,000 square foot replacement facility. AVRH is a critical access hospital, including intensive care, cardiac cath, labor and delivery, emergency and imaging services. Project challenges include
difficult site work and many community mitigations that were alleviated by active teamwork.

This hospital campus had extensive civil
engineering work due to the mountainous
terrain at this portion of the community.
After considerable negotiation with State
authorities on how to best connect to
highway infrastructure a special entry ramp
was required. The Campus also has a full
service Medical Office Building completed at
the same time as the new hospital.
