ProjX & Golden Plains Community Hospital: A Multi-Project Partnership

ProjX established a long-term partnership with Golden Plains Community Hospital, leading the design of multiple key projects. The flagship initiative was a ground-up, 25-bed Critical Access Hospital, which became the first in the nation to be fully funded by the USDA—securing 100% direct financing rather than a loan guarantee. The project was completed $200,000 under budget and delivered in just 11 months.

Due to cost savings and the requirement to utilize USDA-allocated funds, ProjX also designed and constructed a Rural Health Clinic on the new campus, expanding essential healthcare services for the community.

Recognizing further needs, ProjX later converted unused administrative space into an Outpatient Geri-Psych program, optimizing resources and reducing construction time and costs. The program quickly achieved full census with a waiting list, demonstrating its immediate impact and success.
