WEST MAUI HOSPITAL

West Maui Hospital and Medical Campus is a multi-building campus located on a coffee plantation development in Lahaina, West Maui, Hawaii. ProjX did the original campus master plan, assisted with initial designs and concepts for the Design Review Board, developed full hospital, assisted living and nursing home drawings, shepherded them through the permit review process (which took almost 10 months!!) and assisted in contractor selection and value engineering exercises with subcontracxtors.
The original financing fell through for the developer, so alternate financing was pursued, also with the assistance of ProjX. We are now re-visiting the original hospital concept to scale down to a "mini-CAH" hospital, with all the services of a full-sized facility on a scaled down basis. Plans should be complete the 1st quarter of 2024.
